Helsinki Olympic Stadium

Agency: Karhu Helsinki

The Helsinki Olympic Stadium arena, which has been described as the most beautiful in the world, is the product of an architectural competition. Arhcitects Mr. Yrjö Lindegren and Mr. Toivo Jäntti won the competition with their clearly lined functionalistic style design. The most important events in the life of the Helsinki Olympic Stadium were the XVth Olympic Games, 19. July-3. August, 1952.

What We Did

The visual identity of the stadium was created by the Stadium Foundation's University collaboration and the logo was designed by Juuso Järvinen as a result of a logo design competition by the foundation.

My job at karhu Helsinki was to create a fresh new website for the stadium that was starting its renowation process. I designed the user interface and created layouts for multiple screen sizes.

The project specification was produced by our project managers with The Stadium Foundation and the website was built with Drupal by our developer team at Karhu Helsinki.
